Tell us about what you’re doing with your life
I retired in 2021, so I now spend all my time doing whatever I want do. I am playing golf 4 days a week, and on the other days I can be found bike riding, swimming, playing pickleball, water volleyball, walking the dog and attending various clubs.
We have made many new friends and spend a great deal of time socializing. We also love to travel and managed an amazing trip to Australia Feb-Mar of 2020 … getting back to the states just before the shutdown. Our son graduated Purdue in Aerospace Engineering in 2019 and now works in Florida as a sub-contractor to NASA. Our daughter graduates this May from Ithaca College with a degree in Film Production and Cinematography. She is L.A. bound!
What was your favorite class at Cornell, or the one you found the most useful?
It’s difficult to narrow down to one … Digital Signal Processing with Professor David Delchamps was a favorite and one of the most useful classes for my early career. An elective in Human Nutrition was a favorite and useful today!
What is your favorite memory of your time at Cornell?
Being a brother at Phi Sigma Epsilon (40 Ridgewood Rd) and the crazy parties we threw every year. The 60-keg summer bash on the front lawn, the Halloween party, Studio 54 party, the rooms party and a few I probably don’t remember.
What are you most looking forward to at Reunion 2024?
Seeing my fraternity brothers and friends.
