Tell us about what you're doing with your life
I am an Oculofacial Surgeon based in San Juan Puerto Rico with a Private Practice (José Raúl Montes Eyes & Facial Rejuvenation), also Professor at the Ophthalmology at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. I'm an International speaker and Trainer for the major Pharmaceutical Cosmetic Companies and I have a Research and Clinical Trial Center.

What was your favorite class at Cornell, or the one you found most useful?
I really enjoyed my Italian Classes !! and Latin American Literature Course

What is your favorite memory of your time at Cornell?
Sun bathing at the slope during summer time

Which Cornell classmates do you keep in touch with?
Dr. Chow Ng

How has your time at Cornell influenced you since you graduated?
UFFF it made me so strong , it was my true University to help me cope with the unexpected challenges in Life.

What extracurricular activity or hobby from your time at Cornell was most meaningful?
Playing Tennis indoors!!

What random or surprising encounters with Cornell or Cornellians have you experienced since you left? Alternatively, who do you keep in touch with?
I went to a class reunion like 15-20 years ago and most attendees were strangers to me sorry!! We need to reconnect!!

If you could change anything about your Cornell experience, what would it be?
I would have met more International students and I would have stayed In Campus Housing instead of moving out.

What does being a Cornell alumnus mean to you?
So Proud to be a Cornellian

What advice would you give to a student starting at Cornell?
Enjoy the ride, join clubs, frats, organizations and don't get obssessed with grades

What are you most looking forward to at Reunion 2024?
To reconnect and meet new friends that have in common with me those glorious 4 years from 1980-1984
