Resident Principal with the Taipei Office of international law firm Baker McKenzie (Managing Principal 2007-2012). Chairman of ECCT (European Chamber of Commerce). Accademia Italiana Della Cucina Delegazione di Taiwan.
What was your favorite class at Cornell, or the one you found most useful?
All my government and history classes were great; legal anthropology with Prof. Greenhouse. Psychology class was in particular interesting and useful later in the working environment.
What is your favorite memory of your time at Cornell?
Oliphant Lecture Series sponsored by the Sigma Phi House. Multiple interesting and insightful speakers spoke and stayed with us in the House.
Which Cornell classmates do you keep in touch with?
Mark Ter Molen, John Josephson, James Ritchey, Terri Port, Oscar Abello (freshman roommate).
How has your time at Cornell influenced you since you graduated?
It was a wonderfully diverse environment which each of us pursued different paths and careers later in life but remained bonded through the mutual experiences at Cornell.
What extracurricular activity or hobby from your time at Cornell was most meaningful?
Broomstick Polo :) Mortar Board. Our fraternity house provided a good balance of academic and social life and gave us some life long friends.
What random or surprising encounters with Cornell or Cornellians have you experienced since you left? Alternatively, who do you keep in touch with?
Cornell has a large alumni group in Taiwan given the mixture of agricultural school, engineering, architecture class graduates.
What advice would you give to a student starting at Cornell?
Make use of all the resources Cornell has to offer, both academically and socially including the surroundings of Ithaca.
